Boyd Harris, Artist of the Year!

Congratulations to Boyd Harris, long time Brownwood artist and recently voted the 2025-2026 Brownwood Art Association Artist of the Year!

The BAA Artist of the Year is awarded with a one-man art exhibit. Some artists find it daunting to provide original art works in sufficient numbers to fill the BAA exhibit space. Not the case with Mr. Harris. He was able to provide 90 works of art in a variety of mediums, shapes and sizes.

Come by the Art Center during normal gallery hours and embrace Boyd’s talent and passion for his work,.

NOTE: Boyd passed on being presented with a plexiglass trophy and opted instead for a six-pack of his favorite beer!
